***COVID-19 UPDATE*** 16th October 2020

Your favourite announcements are back! Unfortunately they aren't fun announcements.

With the introduction of the three tier system the Centre Committee has received guidance from the Caravan and Motorhome Club Governance team. This follows the government's guidance on the introduction on trade restrictions.

Tier 1 (Medium) - When travelling, it is important that you respect the rules in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and do not travel to different parts of the UK where your intended activities there would be prohibited by legislation passed by the relevant devolved administration. You should also avoid travelling to any part of the country subject to very high local COVID alert levels.

Tier 2 (High) - You can still travel within high alert level areas to hotels and other guest accommodation, but you should only do this with people in your household or support bubble.

You can still go on holiday outside of high alert level areas, but you must only do this with people in your household or support bubble.

Tier 3 (Very High) - If you are a resident in a very high alert level area, we ask you to avoid staying overnight in another part of the UK, except if you need to for work, education or caring responsibilities. This means we are asking you not to leave the very high alert level area to stay in a second home, if you own one. You must not stay with anyone you do not live with elsewhere in the UK or visit their home.

We are asking everyone who lives elsewhere to avoid staying overnight in a very high alert level area where possible, except for those who need to for work, education or caring responsibilities. You must not stay with anyone you do not live with from a very high alert level area or visit their home.

If you are resident in a very high alert level area, you may travel to hotels and other guest accommodation within that area but you should only do this with people in your household or support bubble.

We know this is a lot of information and it is changing all the time, it seems.

We will continue to monitor the situation but at the moment we will be reviewing all of our rallies and booked members. We will contact you individually if there are any changes that apply to you.

Thank you to every one of our members in the centre for being supportive and understanding during this time.
