Cabus rally report

We arrived late Friday morning to a friendly welcome from Gillian, set up quickly and had lunch then enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and views. In the evening we all got together for wine and nibbles to celebrate Williams 70th birthday, who unfortunately couldn’t attend as he was in hospital.

Saturday another lovely day so we walked into Scorton village and back along the canal 6 miles. Mid afternoon we all had afternoon tea and scrummy cakes in the sunshine, enjoyed by all. We then sat outside reading then a late tea .

Sunday was cloudy but still pleasant with final flag and lots of winners and thank you’s. A really good rally. Thank you to all involved who made it special.
