We were welcomed to a lovely rally field, which had many suitable walks from site. The National only had a sprinkling of Cumbrians, and only the Moffats and ourselves followed on to this friendly rally. Welcoming flag of cheese and wine on the first evening, set us up for six days to enjoy this well placed venue for visiting both Liverpool, and the Wirral coast. The weather was kind to us (certainly compared to home) and Sandi enjoyed her first trip on both train and ferry...... All too soon it was Sunday and time for home. A special thanks to Liz, Sally, Pete and Andrew our amiable rally officers. Nothing was too much trouble to them in ensuring our stay was enjoyed by all. Lorraine, Peter and Sandi.
