Grasmere Late Summer 2018

What can we say about a Grasmere rally? Walking to the fells straight from the site, site right in the village, bus stop outside the site, showers and toilets on site and on this weekend a beer festival with live music.

Although the weather hadn’t been kind for Grasmere sports just a few days before the rally started the ground wasn’t too bad and no-one had any problems getting on or off their pitch.

With so much to see and do in the area over the time of the rally organised activities were confined to opening and closing flags which turned out to be a good move as poor Maria was not well at all (hope you’re fighting fight now Maria).
